The Manta rays are visiting Guam again!!!!!
Well, My brother and I were out towards Haputo Beach exploring some potential cave pasages and at the end of the day the mantas put on quite a show for us. They were hanging out on the surface with their "wing tips" pointed up out of the water. At first I thought we came across a school of large sharks, But as we aproached, they revealed themselves. They were kind enough to pose for a few pics and played as if we weren't even there. The larger of the bunch (a good 10 feet wide) swam upside down right beneath my brother. It was definately a great way to end the day. Here are some pics of the day

Where should I dive today? Fortunately we live on an island that is blessed with many great dive sites within a minimal driving distance. Oh by the way, we have some of the best diving in the world. Your tour on Guam will be over before you know it, so let's get wet today!!!!!
Check the tides before you head out!!!!
Make sure you know what the tides are doing before you head out to you favorite dive site. Tides can effect your safety and your enjoyment of the dive.
What's the weather supposed to be like this weekend?????
Few things are more important to dive planning than the weather. Make sure you're not heading outside the reef when the weather is going south. Fortunately we live on an island, so if the weather is bad in Piti, it's probably ok at marine lab!!!!
